Announcements and Updates

March 2025

The Metro District is excited to announce several new projects for 2025! In November, the Metro Board approved five projects set to begin as soon as the planting season starts. Our landscape contractor, CoCal, will undertake three projects at our community entrances, enhancing each with newly planted annual flowers and perennials. Additionally, the Rosemary Hill area will see a refreshed look with the addition of large cobble, boulders, and new plantings.

As part of our ongoing community-wide tree care efforts, our tree contractor will replace or add 15 new trees along Heritage, Uinta, and the Quebec gate area. Recognizing the importance of water conservation, the District has also contracted with CoCal to install new irrigation controllers throughout the community. This upgrade will allow us to transition to a Central Control System, enabling more efficient water management with the goal of significantly reducing usage. Additional projects under consideration include enhancements to the Uinta planting beds, monument bush planting along Highway 7, and replacing plants that have died throughout the community.

Beyond landscaping, the District also plans to mill and overlay five cul-de-sacs and Verbena St. this year. Residents will receive notifications in advance of any roadwork.

Lastly, community safety remains a priority. The speed limit within HTC is 25 miles per hour, and we strongly encourage all residents to adhere to it. With an active community of outdoor enthusiasts, ensuring safe roadways for everyone is essential. Thank you for your cooperation and
